What are functional movement patterns and what's the difference between useable mobility and accessible mobility?
It’s the difference between having the keys to a car, and taking it for a drive. It is not as cut & dry as ‘mobility vs. flexibility’, ‘active’ vs. ‘passive’, nor of strength in a range (although all valuable considerations). The questions in light of ‘usability’ is quite simply: “can you MOVE in that range?” From this perspective grows a modest practice of moving in, out of, and all around those ranges - simple in application, as movement so often does come down to.
